Muzeyyen is a cyber risk analyst, data protection consultant, and European Commission Expert Evaluator. She brings with her over 16 years of experience in Information Security in various domains such as cryptography, systems security engineering, compliance, and cybersecurity.
Muzeyyen began her career as a Crypto Specialist at the National Research Institute, Turkey. She has participated in R&D projects including E-ID, Smart Card OS, Satellite, and EU projects. Since 2012, she has been actively working as an Expert Evaluator on Cryptology, Data Privacy, Computer Networks, and Information Security in the European Union H2020 program. After years of independent consultancy on KVKK (Turkish Data Protection Law), GDPR and ISO27001, she joined NormShield Cyber Security in 2019 as Cyber Risk and Compliance Analyst. Currently, her research interests include NLP and Deep Learning techniques for security compliance.
Muzeyyen, has a master’s degree from Bosphorus University Computer Engineering. She is a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) and also holds an ISO27001LA Lead Auditor certificate in Information Security.
