All Information Security Need Not Be Data Security

We have to understand that all information security need not necessarily be data security. There is no point beating one’s chest claiming that one has the best of information security when a huge chunk of information is available in a digitalized format and is perhaps not security. Hence, complete and total information security is one where both physical and digital information is secured. Data by its definition and structure is always digital. Further, data on its own may not hold too much relevance unless it is crunched and converted into meaningful information.
